New Year is an activation point for many of us to explore what we’d like to change or create. It’s a date set by the Gregorian calendar, not necessarily in alignment with emerging frequencies in the universal field, the rhythm of the seasons, or ancient natural calendars. This year, the Spring Equinox (northern hemisphere) is a far more potent new year than what we’ve just experienced. In many ways, we’re still in 2024’s energies now, particularly through the ongoing retrograde of planet of action Mars (read more on this in my previous blog Close to Home here) We’ve time to catch our breath, stay in winter’s pause of stillness and rejuvenation.
When we reach late March, a rare & astounding series of initiation points activates. Overall, the frequencies shift from the slow fertile foundation-making earth and water elements into upwardly mobile fire & air. With multiple outer planets moving signs, it’s a rare year of new beginnings. Opportunities abound for expressing & creating from the deeper values we’ve been growing since 2020. Collective societal shifts will emerge that have their roots in the late 60’s (peace movement), late 80’s (falling of the Berlin wall) and 2020 (the pandemic).
Deconstruction of collective systems continues, yet the new frequencies offer a more potent opportunity for radical change than we’ve known thus far. This arises from the ground up.
January:
The Lunar Nodes of karma & destiny change signs from Aries/Libra to Pisces/Virgo. Focus moves from ‘me/we’ relationships to humanitarian & spiritual values, service-orientated practical actions to relieve suffering.
March:
Creative Feminine Venus is retrograde from Aries to Pisces indicating the need to revisit and activate our individual heartfelt contribution to life. It’s an upgrade in soulful connection & action. What is of deepest value to you personally that has influence in the collective field?
Mystic Neptune moves from Pisces (there since 2012) to Aries, crossing the Equinox point. This starts a new 165-year cycle of the zodiac. Focus: spirituality, compassionate action, visionary & healing arts, altruistic creative potential that serves the collective. A Solar Eclipse (visible in the UK) heralds Neptune’s Aries ingress. Dark Feminine Black Moon Lilith moves from relationship-orientated Libra to mystical Scorpio enhancing our intuitive realms with a calling to deep honesty and integrity. The deeper shadows of patriarchal culture will be emerging, with a collective calling for integrity & justice.
May:
Wise Elder Saturn moves from Pisces to Aries, crossing the Equinox point (29-year cycle). The manifestation of soul yearnings and vision becomes tangibly achievable. Saturn joins Neptune so our capacity to courageously confront old systems whilst embodying new ways of conscious being & contribution is profoundly real.
June:
Blessing-giver Jupiter moves from Gemini into Cancer. This is Jupiter’s happy place so feelings of abundance, optimism & joy are strong. A new sense of deep rootedness as souls in human bodies is active.
July:
Awakener Uranus moves from Taurus to Gemini. Uranus speeds up the frequencies of the sign it traverses heralding innovation & ingenuity. Technological & scientific advances emerge rapidly, particularly in communication, social media, AI, education, business, & politics. New ways of responding to information overload will be essential.
August-December:
Lord of the Underworld Pluto, Mystic Neptune & Wise Elder Saturn align in dynamically supportive ways. The tangibility of collective shifts is not only profound but beginning to be visible in our world. Lord of the Underworld Pluto’s residence in air sign Aquarius for 20 years gains traction. shifting the processes of deconstruction to innovation. A grass roots revival replaces the outmoded model of capitalism & false power held through greed.
The last few years have radically prepared us for 2025’s frequency shifts. Allow yourself to keep resting deep, tending your roots of individuality in preparation for renewal. We are in a gestational period; there’s no rush to move into ‘2025’. In truth, you are, we are, beyond time, receiving the next soulful impulse of evolutionary potential.
