As it’s an earth sign, this comprises what we have that we think we can rely on – money, possessions, resources. The pleasures and feel-good of being in a human body are a focus, with food, enjoyment, the experience of the arts, beauty and nature being uppermost in our consciousness in this fertile season.

Its beauty is surely a sight to delight us, a feast for our senses, yet to recognise also that its roots grow as deep and wide as its canopy, is true knowledge. Without firm roots, albeit unseen, the potential of blossoms or fruit is unfulfilled.
This New Moons calls us reflect on rootedness. What is simply comfortable and perhaps a bit stale, and what is truly fulfilling? What truly nourishes you? What new values are calling for commitment? What are you taking for granted? Where is your deeper wellbeing that remains stable when external pleasures are not available? Where do you know wholeness and wholesomeness?
When life is intense, being awake to your naturally divine wellbeing and what supports it is essential. A new foundation is calling. The New Moon is always the start of a new cycle. It’s time to consciously choose and act on this new beginning.
